Global Village’s 30th Season Proceeds Without Iran Pavilion
The pavilion’s signage has been removed, a barrier now blocks its entrance, and it has also been taken down from Global Village’s official website.
Global Village has officially reopened for its 30th season after a temporary shutdown on February 28th, 2026, amid regional tensions linked to the Iran war. While most areas resumed operations when the destination welcomed visitors back on April 20th, 2026, the Iranian pavilion did not reopen alongside them.
According to The National, the pavilion’s signage has been removed, a barrier now blocks its entrance, and it has also been taken down from Global Village’s official website. No public statement has yet been issued regarding its status.
